The PHP3 documentation is missing the excellent 2.x instructions for invoking script via Apache module by interpreting the filename extension. Previous versions used ".phtml" while the new instructions make rare reference to ".php3" Some people only learn of the new extension by downloading the binary version of PHP3 and seeing it in the
README. (The Linux httpd-php3 binary is missing needed libs and doesn't work!)

The AddType instructions are in the INSTALL file in the distribution, but I agree that they should be in the online manual as well.  I will fix that.
