Description:
------------
---
From manual page: http://www.php.net/function.floatval#refsect1-
function.floatval-returnvalues
---

The description of the floatval return value is incomplete:

"The float value of the given variable. Empty arrays return 0, non-empty arrays
return 1."

It should say that floatval("string") returns 0 (the intval description does).
An even better wording has been proposed in bug #50311 (which was only partially
fixed)

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.

Thank you for the report, and for helping us make our documentation better.
