Description:
------------
If you put locale to French (fr_FR), strftime outputs the day with a capital
letter instead of all lowercase (e.g.: it outputs 'Vendredi' instead of
'vendredi'). In French, days don't have capital letters.

Test script:
---------------
setlocale(LC_ALL, 'fr_FR');
echo strftime("%A");

Expected result:
----------------
The current day in lowercase.

Actual result:
--------------
The current day with a capital letter.

This is almost certainly an issue with your OS locale support, rather than PHP. It behaves normally for in Ubuntu 12.04, for instance.

What OS/distribution are you running, and what output do you get from running this in a shell: "LC_ALL=fr_FR.UTF-8 date" (or whatever French locale name is correct for your system).
