PHP's native zipArchive class produces corrupt result .zip file when this result 
file is greater than "4GB" (in fact this might be 3,6GB or similar). I could 
reproduce this several times.

There was a libzip upgrade which isn't in the release yet. Could you please try 
one of the current development branches or zip extension trunk from PECL?

Or actually any of the current RC snaps (like 5.3.15RC1) has the libzip upgrade.
