basic.cancel is used to cancel the action of a previous basic.consume call.

However, this package lets the server generate the consumer tag, and throws away the return value of librabbitmq's amqp_basic_consume function - therefore there's no way of knowing what the consumer tag for the consumption is, and no way of cancelling it.

This manifests itself as any messages being sent to an unreadable buffer if using AMQPQueue::consume and returning FALSE.

This has been fixed in version 1.0.9 of the library.
We're still working on getting the documentation updated, but you can read all
