My IP is apparently not in the IP -> country DB.

I'm in Chicago.

I end up on the Brazil mirror.

my.php.net would let me pick a single US mirror.

But I'd like to pick "any" US site from the pool, not a specific one, if possible, since any given mirror can go down at any given time.

We don't have the ability at the moment to redirect to any mirror server in a 
country due to the way our DNS is set up.

As for the automatic redirection issue, what IP address are you on? (Feel free to 
omit the last octet if you want to.)

Just to clarify, Rich (for others who may happen upon this report):

my.php.net is a mirror located in the country of Malaysia, where this bug 
concerns http://php.net/my.php.

Since we do implement round robin now, we should give the users the choice of 
selecting CC.php.net now.

Hello, thanks for reporting this issue. PHP now moved to a whole new level on the server side and mirrors aren't used there anymore. Closing this as resolved then. If you find anything else, please don't hesitate to report. Thanks.
