Description:
------------
---
From manual page: http://www.php.net/function.mysql-query#refsect1-function.mysql-query-description
---
The mysql_query function buffers the entire result set before you can proceed further and process the result. It takes more time as compared to unbuffered result set in mysql_unbuffered_query function.
