i found some articles recommend this compressor named 
"QuickLZ". i tested it in my linux box, it's really faster 
then zlib.

so could you consider it with memcached's compress?

Version 2.0 supports FastLZ compressor. I don't have plans to 
add QuickLZ at this point.
