I get the following problem trying to install on MacOS 10.5.8

PECL install RAR:

collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [rar.la] Error 1
ERROR: `make' failed

The linker seem to not be able compiling.

Same problem on MacOS 10.6

I get the same error output.

PEAR Version: 1.8.0
PHP Version: 5.3.2
Mac OS X 10.6.4

I used the command "sudo pecl -v install rar"

Happy to send full output if that is helpful, or help debug.

There should be no problem with trunk. Do:

svn co http://svn.php.net/repository/pecl/rar/trunk rar && cd rar && phpize && ./configure && make && sudo make install

Most likely not a problem in 3.0.0 anymore.
