Description:
------------
Has this project been abandoned?

The last release date was December 2008 and there are open bugs with patch suggestions that haven't been applied in over a year now (http://pecl.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=16727).

I'm not trying to nag, but it would be nice to know if this project has been abandoned or if it's still under active development.

I would love to see this become a stable part of PECL, as it would make installing the extension much easier.

Thanks for any response!

Sorry, but your problem does not imply a bug in PECL itself. For a
list of more appropriate places to ask for help using PECL, please
visit http://pecl.php.net/support.php as this bug system is not the
appropriate forum for asking support questions.

Thank you for your interest in PECL.

As you can see, noone has maintained it for years.
I however need it now, and plan to make a release shortly..
:)
