When you try to add TTF-Text to an animated GIF, the function lets go, crashing Apache (1.3.0) with an segmentation fault ... Is there a possibility to check a GIF-File before using the TTF-function ?

This is a problem with the GD library that we can't do
much about...
GD 1.3 might solve the problem.
