Description:
------------
I used to install the module by typing:
pear install http://pecl.php.net/get/translit
after it I restarted Apache, and when I'm trying access to any php page, I get an error in apache log:
[notice] child pid 11764 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
and the page is blank without any output.
I checked, when I removed extension=translit.so from php.ini the error message is disappear and the php pages works well, so it is definitely some error on translit.so

Actualy, I can open some pages, but the notice appears any way.
Also I have Ubuntu 8.10 32 bits and the module works well there. So probably it is some 64bits incompatibility.
Let me know if I can help you more by doing some tests.

I can't really quite reproduce this, is this still a problem?
