Chile has extended the period of daylight savings time only for this year (2008) in the timezone America/Santiazo.

The "Olson" database is already updated to version 2008a.

There will be a new update on Saturday apparently because of changes in Cuba. I'll update the timezone database then.

Thank you for your bug report. This issue has been fixed
in the latest released version of the package, which you can download at
http://pecl.php.net/get/timezonedb

There was no new update, so I rolled a release for 2008a.
