My Platform:

OS: SLES9 and RHEL3 and RHEL4
Apache: 1.3.9
PHP: 4.4.7
Oracle instantClient:
OCI8: 1.2.4 stable
Database: Oracle 10gR2 RAC

When AP Server request many connect to DB Server
it will find some random errors from php.err

the error is
oci_connect() [<a href='function.oci-connect'>function.oci-connect</a>]: OCIEnvNlsCreate() failed. There is something wrong with your system - please check that LD_LIBRARY_PATH includes the directory with Oracle Instant Client libraries

but I sure the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable already be set

The errors are random to happen.

If I uses oci8-1.3.0beta, this errors seem not to happen

Thank you for your interest in PECL.

| Please ask this question in a support forum, e.g.
| and include useful information such as how you set the
| environment variables. Make sure they are set in the
| shell that starts the web server.
