package is missing functionality to ignore case.

Reproduce code:

Expected result:
case insensitivity when running a regex.

Actual result:
all expressions are case sensitive.

Sorry, but your problem does not imply a bug in PECL itself.  For a
list of more appropriate places to ask for help using PECL, please
visit as this bug system is not the
appropriate forum for asking support questions. 

Thank you for your interest in PECL.

libexpect is missing this flag as well, and since the PHP 
extension is just a wrapper to this library - it's impossible 
to solve add this feature.
