I'm trying to add the PECL module zip.so on my PHP-5.1.6, sapi CGI (with FastCGI) on Apache 2.0.59, but I have this error when I try to restart php, php can start, but the zip instructions aren't available :

Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-zts-20050922/zip.so' - /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-zts-20050922/zip.so: undefined symbol: core_globals_id in Unknown on line 0

I even tried to compile it statically in PHP, then I can't even start PHP. I can't upgrade to PHP 5.2.0, because it breaks a lot of my customers websites...

Looks like using different SAPI to compile and load the extension (or different version).
