Thank you for taking the time to write to us, but this is not
a bug.

Hello, Pajoye.

I could not remeber the last time I've seen the statistics online. Could you, please, enlighten us and go a little bit deeper into details? What happened?
 [2006-02-18 07:20 UTC] pajoye@php.net
Please read the pear webmaster archive.
 [2006-02-18 09:03 UTC] techtonik@php.net
Could you provide a link, please? JFYI I'm not the only one person interested and my reference to some third-party email (in case I'll able to find the correct one) is not really an explanation for anybody. But if you would be so grateful to post link here as a reply, I think everyone will be satisfied with official response. =)

Sorry, but your problem does not imply a bug in PEAR itself. For a
list of more appropriate places to ask for help using PEAR, please
visit http://pear.php.net/support/ as this bug system is not the
appropriate forum for asking support questions.

Thank you for your interest in PEAR.

Please consider that I have as little time as you have. If you cannot use our archives (use beeblex, it is easy), I cannot really help you.

But this is *not* a bug. Keep it closed.

PEAR folks do not seem very supportive, don't they? =/

You know that my word is not authoritative in this community anymore (if it ever was) - that's why I ask somebody, who has the latest information. If you took a responsibility to answer this question, could you do it properly, please.

Ok. Thanks. =) At least. Now it is clear why statistics doesn't work, but it is not the reason to close this bugreport. I think it would be better for it to stay open until somebody finds a solution.

BTW, you can point to the sources of cron job and email-mentioned method of "gathering the stats from the downloads table or each hit like it used to be done." if you're not going to work on it.

It is *not* a bug.

And I'm working on it, if not I will not waste more time argue again with you.

Keep this report closed now.

Ok. I can't help you if do not need it anyways.

I'm just curious how long it will take to fix PEAR statistics, because the outage was reported in the mail above on Tue, 08 Jun 2004 ?

Ok, sorry for the tone here and now, but can you stop to ask stupid questions and actually verify *when* I disabled it? No, you do not have to answer that. I appreciate your effort to report bugs but this one is getting ridiculous and annoying.
 [2006-02-19 13:36 UTC] techtonik@php.net
It is annoying, because you don't want to give straight answers. To make things even more ridiculous and annoying I used beeblex to check *when* you actually disabled statistics and stop ask stupid questions. But unfortunately I've failed to find anything.

http://www.beeblex.com/search.php?s=pajoye%20disabled%20statistics

Do not get angry - you provoked the question yourself. =) So.. Where can I verify *when* you actually disabled it?
 [2006-12-30 10:35 UTC] techtonik@php.net
At last. It fixed.
