every time I run a script.

gnupg 1.0 installed with "pear install gnupg"

PHP 4.3.11 (cgi) (built: Nov 10 2005 21:14:52)
Copyright (c) 1997-2004 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v1.3.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2004 Zend Technologies

I had to install gpgme from freshrpms.net to get gnupg to compile, though.

I wasn?t able to reproduce this with PHP 4.4.1
Can you provide a backtrace?
