pear update-channels
this command gives unexpected result/error msg with the default pear config

Expected result:
[a list of channels]

Actual result:
ERROR: existing channel "" is aliased to "pear" already and cannot be re-aliased to "" because a channel with that name or alias already
 exists! Please re-alias and try again.

Oddly enough, this is a bug in pear-database.php, as the channel.listAll command is returning:

instead of

I will kill it now

Turns out, this is because the database is storing "pear" as the channel name instead of "" So, I will assign this one to Martin, who can pass it to Pierre, I guess, if too busy

UPDATE channels SET name="" WHERE name="pear";

This will fix it

In case this was a website problem, the change will show
up on the website in short time.
Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PEAR better.
