I would suggest to add a preview button for comments, maybe mails and bug reports to maintainers. So you could fix typos or test the BBCode.

This bug has been fixed in CVS.

If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET).

If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly.

Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release.

Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better.

The preview is shown twice.

I've answered #4655, clicked on "Preview" and saw my comment both in the box where the password form field is in (dashed line around the box) and below this box, in different colors and fonts.

(Tested here, problem does not occur. Maybe this is restricted to the "Edit Submission" page.)

Would it make sense to add the text that will be added from the selection in "Quick Fix" select box in the preview text?

I'm not sure about this as PEAR developers should know the texts that will be used. Any opinions?

I think they should know it :)
