I have installed the 2.0.3 APC version. I have done the good extension dir in my php.ini file. When I want to have phpinfo , APC doesn't appear and my error_log have this line :
[Wed May 12 12:35:00 2004] [notice] child pid 6364 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

The same thing on my site.

Red Hat Linux 9.0
Apache 2.0.40 + php 4.3.2 (from RH9 CD rpms)
Celeron 800, 128Mb RAM

I have tryed default method and mmap. Both with the same result.

More over, default installation dir was different, than real one (default to php rpm from RH)

Nowhere near enough information to do anything with this one.  Try a recent version.  If it is still crashing for you, run Apache under gdb in non-forking mode and send us the backtrace.
