Description:
------------
The actual version of PHP I am using is 4.3.6, it was not on the selector.

phpize returns:

autoconf: Undefined macros:
configure.in:65:AC_PROG_LIBTOOL

configure then returns:

creating cache ./config.cache
configure: error: can not run ./config.sub

Reproduce code:
---------------
tar -zxf APC-2.0.3.tar.gz

cd APC-2.0.3

/usr/local/bin/phpize

Expected result:
----------------
I'd expect it to configure correctly...

Sorry, but your problem does not imply a bug in PECL itself. For a
list of more appropriate places to ask for help using PECL, please
visit http://pecl.php.net/support/ as this bug system is not the
appropriate forum for asking support questions.

Thank you for your interest in PECL.

Please install appropriate build tools.
