From manual page: http://www.php.net/function.openssl-pkcs7-sign#Description
---
I would like to see the openssl_pkcs7_sign(), openssl_pkcs7_verify(), openssl_pkcs7_encrypt(), openssl_pkcs7_decrypt() functions use either a file for input & output or a string variable.

When it comes to shared hosting environments writing files is not always available. Thanks.
