Having a php native LINQ-style of querying objects in PHP would make code more maintainable and readable. As of now, developers must loop through an array of objects and perform manual filtering, grouping, etc.

+1 for this feature. I would like to have the support custom LINQ provider like c# LinqToSql, LinqToXML, etc...

I had forgotten all about this request. If you're interested in trying it out, I

This would be a considerable feature addition, and as such
requires the RFC process[1].  Anybody is welcome to start it.  For
the time being, I'm suspending this ticket.
