Description:

When sscanf function is disabled by disable_functions ini directive, it returns 
null without throwing an error as expected. At least a warning should be 
displayed. Instead what is expected, sscanf returns null without any warning or 
error.

Expected result:
----------------
Sscanf should give a warning when disabled by disable_functions ini directive.

Actual result:
--------------
Sscanf gives no warning, returns null when disabled by disable_functions ini 
directive.

I can't reproduce this using the svn version.

$ sapi/cli/php -ddisable_functions=sscanf -r 'print sscanf(1);'

Warning: sscanf() has been disabled for security reasons in Command line code on line 1

Are you using any Zend extension?

Anyway, try editing php.ini, put disable_extensions there. Unfortunately, when I 
submitted this issue, I had to select version from a combo that did not contain 
5.2.13. Now I changed it.
