Currently our customizations, or perhaps because we could be running an outdated version of ViewVC causes the diffs between different revisions to look very bad in Opera, sometimes not even showing up.

The latest version of ViewVC works perfectly fine with diffs and Opera, so I think we should re-do the simple customizations we do here, based on the latest version of ViewVC to assure perfect cross browser ability.

I actually submitted a bug report to Opera one or two months ago about this. It's a CSS property that screws the table layout (if I recall, for some reason it changes the column span).

Hi, so did I in the same time range for diffs at Google Code, but I had no response from them whatsoever

They say in the bug reporting page that they don't respond, except if they need to get further information from you. Not a very transparent process...

Well it's rendering correctly in Opera 11.11
