when tyring to execute php-3_0-win32.exe, on win95, I get an error message:
   in copying files
       from : c:\windows\temp\$INFTool.tmp\Ldap32.dll
       to : c:\php3\ldap32.dll

   -> Setup has trouble copying files
         details on error message says:
                 Invalid drive specification (error #f)
           from: (same as noted before)
           to  '@:\Ldap32.dll=Ldap32.dll'       <----------- ????????

trying to skip file get the same type of error for libdb.dll,mSQL.dll, zlib.dll

and installation ends !

trying another download just doesn't solve problem

The installer has some problems - we will get them worked out.  For now, just use something like WinZIP and load up the distribution .EXE file and copy the files.  See the following URL for instructions on where to put things:
