just like i did it all the other times i grabbed the latest source during my lunch break today and started to compile it. everything seemed fine.

but when i told my webbrowser to display a small test file containing the famous phpinfo() what i saw was this:

MZ????@??? ?!?L?!This program cannot be run in DOS mode.
....

of course i have noticed that this problem was already reported to the bug database. since Bug #5245 is closed but not solved i am submitting it again.
