Description:
------------
I am using phpmailer with php 5.3.2. I also had a segmentation fault when using drupal and gallery 2 but I havent got the debug output from that.

I have a class e.g.

class test extends PHPMailer {
  .....
    function send() {
    ...
    }
}

Now the PHPMailer class has a function $this->Send(). I know this is bad practice and have now changed the test class function to send_email and the problem is resolved. First off, should there be a problem as they are different cases and I'm on linux. Second, if there is a conflict should we not get an error like "PHP warning cannot redeclare function bla bla bla" and not a segmentation fault?

I'm always up to learn so if this is something I could fix myself with some guidance I am up for helping.

Thanks Tim

Thank you for this bug report. To properly diagnose the problem, we
need a short but complete example script to be able to reproduce
this bug ourselves.

A proper reproducing script starts with <?php and ends with ?>,
is max. 10-20 lines long and does not require any external
resources such as databases, etc. If the script requires a
database to demonstrate the issue, please make sure it creates
all necessary tables, stored procedures etc.

Please avoid embedding huge scripts into the report.
