The current DOM implementation doesn't provide the DOMDocument::renameNode() introduced in DOM Level 3 .
Could this be implemented ?

DOMDocument::renameNode will not be implemented now that the latest DOM standard has removed it, it will be removed from the API in PHP 8 as per: https://github.com/php/php-src/pull/4736
