Description:
------------
There are more undocumented functions than documented ones. And even many of the documented functions state "This function is currently not documented; only its argument list is available."

No mention is made anywhere of support for SNMP versions 2c and 3, although browsing snmp.c one can find these things.

I've always been impressed with PHP's documentation, and didn't file this bug years ago because I was always expecting the SNMP docs to be finished one day. Maybe some documentation work needs to be opened to the community in a wiki fashion? The user comments fill in many blanks but can't make up for totally undocumented functions.

Consider https://edit.php.net/ :)

I don't see anyone updating these docs in the near future, so maybe you're willing
to tackle them?

I'll create skeletons for the missing extensions, so at least people can leave
user notes. User notes exist so they can be researched then folded into the manual
proper, and this is especially useful for uncommonly used extensions like snmp.
