In the french manual translation, there is a mistake in the part :

Valeurs de retour

La taille de la cha?ne string et 0 si le param?tre string est vide
-------------------------------------------------------------

I guess the initial idea is : 
 Size of string IS 0 if string parameter is empty.

Actually, it is erroneously translated :
 Size of string AND 0 if string parameter is empty.

So correct french translation shall be :
 La taille de la cha?ne string EST 0 si le param?tre string est vide

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.

The erroneous "et" has been changed to "est". Thank you for your report.
