The test relies on the session system to be working but doesn't provide the necessary ini settings:

session.auto_start=1
session.save_handler=files
session.save_path=temp_session_store

(or another local and temporary save_path)

This bug has been fixed in SVN.

Snapshots of the sources are packaged every three hours; this change
will be in the next snapshot. You can grab the snapshot at
