Script to reproduce the problem :

$query="select * from table_name where columnname_value>val1 and columnname_value<val2";
$stmt=OCIParse($strConn,$query);
if (!OCIExecute($stmt)){
...

with [val1,val2] U [33377,34744] not null. 


On ORACLE8i database, columnname_value is defined as NUMBER(15)

Error message :
"ORA-03120-two-task conversion routine : integer overflow."
