Description:
------------
I'm trying to install PHP 5.3.0RC3 on a Windows machine, but it seams PDO is lacking Firebird support. I didn't find any "php_pdo_firebird.dll" in directory "ext", while it does exist in PHP 5.2.9.

It's a bug? Will support for firebird be dropped ?

Thanks

Except if a miracle happens, it will not be in 5.3.0. It may be back shortly after as a separate download or in 5.3.1. There is already a bug report about that > bogus.

But I see several fixes about this driver in changelog 5.3.0, why not support in this version?

The idea is discontinued the suport for Firebird in PDO?

Thanks
