in configure script:
since $ld_runpath_switch can be = "" if --disable-rpath was set, this line:

LDFLAGS="`$CURL_CONFIG --libs` $ld_runpath_switch$CURL_DIR/$PHP_LIBDIR"

from "configure:25277: checking for SSL support in libcurl", should read:

test -n "$ld_runpath_switch" && LDFLAGS="$LDFLAGS $ld_runpath_switch$CURL_DIR/$PHP_LIBDIR"
