Description:
------------
Since the php version 4.0.5, URL support was added for getimagesize.

I think that a note with a link to the PEAR package "Image_Remote" (http://pear.php.net/package/Image_Remote) is missing.
Recent comments on that manual page prove that lack of information in order to retrieve remote image pixel size without downloading the whole image.

Reproduce code:
---------------
---
From manual page: function.getimagesize
---

That is beyond the scope of this particular manual page entry. Indeed,
the user notes are the appropriate avenue for making such connections
between PHP features (as suggestions), as you pointed out is the present
case.

Thank you for taking the time to make a suggestion, though. We
certainly do appreciate it!
