The $DOCUMENT_ROOT variable is not available when runnning PHP4 as a Zeus ISAPI module.  I don't know if it supposed to be, but it sure would be nice.  You get it if you run the CGI version with Zeus.

Ummm... can you run an ISAPI filter in any Linux application?  Please provide more details!
