Description:

http://fr.php.net/manual/fr/function.curl-setopt.php

Description of CURLOPT_BINARYTRANSFER is :

English:
TRUE to return the raw output when CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER is used.

French:
TRUE pour retourner la ligne affich?e lorsque CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER est utilis?.

Translating this french text to english would give: "TRUE to return the displayed line when CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER is used".

The good translation would be : "TRUE pour retourner les donn?es brutes (donn?es binaires) lorsque CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER est utilis?.".

It is possible to argue about this translation. "brute" is the correct french translation, however in this context it might become hard to understand. "donn?es binaires" would be better in this case, as it would help to understand that this is for "binary transfers" but it becomes somewhat like "look, I'm obvious".

Anyway, having both seems OK to me, as someone who live in France.
