I wrote a simple client which connects to a Java1.6.03 Axis2 implementation of SOAP and, whenever:

$client = new SoapClient($url_to_wsdl); 

is called, instead of displaying ANY text on the page, the browser thinks it should download the resulting php file. I have tested it with the following browser: Mozilla, Links, Lynx, W3M, Python urllib.urlopen.

If I point the WSDL url to something which is running the same software, Java 1.5.09->1.5.14, the request completes as expected.
