In functions/ifx.ec at line 3631 was an esql parse error.
My esql version is `egcs-2.91.66`, come with informix client SDK 2.40 UC1.

It is an informix version specific bugfix, needed only informix version less than 7.24. I remmed out this piece of code, so it worked  for me...
