When I use exif_read_data() on some files edited using ACDSee, I got incorrect EXIF reading as follow:

Make: -empty-
Model: tal Imaging
Software: Exif

I can send you the files if you need it.

Please send files to, also what version of ACDSee are you using? I of course need the images before and after ACDSee touched them as well as what kind of info you added. If you compile PHP yourself then you can edit ext/exif/exif.c and change the line '#undef EXIF_DEBUG' to '#define EXIF_DEBUG 1'. When running PHP again you will get a detailed analysis of what might be wrong.
