php4 compiled with LDAP and whitout oracle on Solaris/sparc: ldap works
php4 compiled with LDAP and oracle on Solaris/spar: can not connect to ldap server

Please upgrade to php4.0.2 and configure
with --with-ldap=/usr/local/oracle/product/8.1.6 instead of openldap.

Report back if this works for you or not.
