Hello!
I have a problem with build php_5.2.3
This is my "Configure Command":

'./configure' '--prefix=/wwwroot/php' '--with-config-file-path=/wwwroot/php' '--with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql' '--with-apxs2=/wwwroot/bin/apxs' '--with-t1lib=/usr/local/include' '--with-gd' '--enable-gd-native-ttf' '--enable-gd-imgstrttf' '--with-freetype-dir=/usr/local/freetype-2.3.5' '--with-zlib-dir=/usr/lib' '--with-png-dir=/usr/local/lib' '--without-pear' '--enable-debug'

and i got phpinfo() result:

gd
GD Support 	enabled
GD Version 	bundled (2.0.34 compatible)
GIF Read Support 	enabled
GIF Create Support 	enabled
PNG Support 	enabled
WBMP Support 	enabled
XBM Support 	enabled

So not enable FreeType2 in GD lib. 
(I was installed : freetype-2.3.5 before)

Please help me! I need GD with eabled freefont2.

You have to install the development package (-devel).

If you still have problems after having installed them or if you did install them, please reopen this bug and post a link to your config.status and config.log
