Hello,

I've installed php4 as cgi over php5 on apache2 and the server is giving me the following error:

Warning: Unexpected character in input: '' (ASCII=15) state=1 in /usr/share/php4/bin/php on line 4063
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /usr/share/php4/bin/php on line 4063


The Script-file (index.ax) is containing:

?>


php4 is configured with:

in apaches httpd.conf has the following lines been added:

AddType application/x-httpd-ax .ax

OK, thank you. I thought that it maybe could be any incompability with SuSe which is using UTF-8 as system charset and apache is running with "ISO" german.
