I am running windows 2003 sp1 and the php5isapi.dll version 5.1.6 and the iis application pool will crash 4 or 5 times a day writing the following information to the applicaiton log:
Faulting application w3wp.exe, version 6.0.3790.1830, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x01a85f80.

When I use the microsoft debug diagnostic tool it shows that php5ts.dll is crashing.

I'm having the same issue.  Has anybody had any luck resolving this?

In case no one has noticed, there is a microsoft patch for this issue, details which are available from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/892988

Of course, the patch didn't solve the issue for me but it might point someone in the right direction as it says why the app is crashing...

I believe this is fixed in the latest build of SP2.
