URL is an acronym, and should be capitalized.  In ext/standard/url.c, the error message 

"Invalid url component identifier %ld." 

should read:

"Invalid URL component identifier %ld."

Also, 

"Unable to parse url" 

should read:

"Unable to parse URL"

This bug has been fixed in CVS.
