Hi,
If I install apache alone everything is working fine, but if I try to integrate the php library,
the build is ok but when apache is running I am unable to contact properly the httpd daemon.
I used the following commands:
cd /usr/local/apache_1.3.9
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache
cd ../php_3.0.15
./configure --with-apache=../apache_1.3.9
make
make install
cd /usr/local/apache_1.3.9
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache --activate-module=src/modules/php3/libphp3.a
make
make install
I configured httpd.conf with the port 80, and uncommented the hostname and then:
/usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start
Everything is ok , and then:
telnet loopback 80
Trying...
Connected to loopback.
Escape character is '^]'.
Connection closed.
spren001:/usr/local/apache/bin>
I use the default php3.ini file in /usr/local/lib
I use gnu make and gcc version 2.95.2
