Hello,
I have discovered that when I compile and install php-3.0.15
having MySQL-shared libraries installed, I get the coredump. If I don't have the MySQL-shared libraries installed but only the .a ones and I compile and install php into apache, there is no problem! I discovered this by accident after installing php in 2 identical machines, only on one I had forgotten to install the MySQL-shared rpm !
Could someone explain why the php apache module cannot work with shared the MySQL shared libraries ?

Thanks

Alex

No idea why, but looking at the backtraces I don't consider it a PHP bug. Ask the MySQL guys.
