Description:
------------
i installed lastest php windows installed on win2k3 server with iis6 and works fine in command line when i run php -i from shell, however i get this error when i try and render php file through a web browser "The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers"

i have checked

php.ini
extentions
file permiision
environment path

all seem fine and as it should be. i also tried the php zip version and got the same results with the same "The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers" error

please can you shen some light on why it might working on command line and not in iis6? thanks shane

Sorry, but your problem does not imply a bug in PHP itself. For a
list of more appropriate places to ask for help using PHP, please
visit http://www.php.net/support.php as this bug system is not the
appropriate forum for asking support questions. Due to the volume
of reports we can not explain in detail here why your report is not
a bug. The support channels will be able to provide an explanation
for you.

Thank you for your interest in PHP.

As you failed to tell what type of SAPI you used, I must assume you used CGI (the only working one with IIS) and didn't read the manual / php.ini-recommended notes.
